Job Description
Amazon is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager based in Seattle, WA for Customer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT). The team focuses on improving customer experience at Amazon globally.
The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for deep diving into a specific customer area and driving our team's strategy and long-term plans for that customer. The ideal candidate will operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for problem solving at scale, and a bias for translating hands-on experience into high-judgment recommendations for senior stakeholders. The candidate will own end-to-end delivery of projects and is responsible for partnering with team leaders and compliance officers within the team and across Amazon to deliver team’s objectives. The candidate will be part of a global and diverse team and working on multiple competing projects spanning across time zones. The role will be a good fit if you:
- Are a self-starter, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working with ambiguity.
- Are interested in solving customer problems by diving deep into issues.
- Are adept at managing competing priorities from different stakeholders and influencing them without authority.
- Are able to translate experiences into strategic insights and clear recommendations for senior leaders.
- Are hands-on in solving business problems and then identifying scalable, technology-based solutions to fix them.
- Have experience working with teams spread globally.
- Have experience working in or with the e-commerce seller space.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the strategy and long-term plan for a specific customer cohort, working backwards from customer needs to define the roadmap.
- Synthesize experiences and data into insights that influence Amazon leaders to improve their customer-facing solutions for the specific customer cohort.
- Gain a deep understanding of the operating environment, risks, and challenges by liaising with cross-functional groups, including business teams, finance, sales, technology, support, fulfillment, and supply chain.
- Deliver insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, framing trade-offs and driving decisions.
- Continuously innovate and improve processes, driving simplification and automation across the team.
- Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure project output is leveraged to its fullest extent.
- Contribute to annual planning, goal delivery, and roadmap prioritization.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
