Academic Support Center Assistant - RJ Grey Jr. High
Pay Rate: $26.31 - $30.22
The Jr. High School Academic Support Center (ASC) provides students with extra help on classwork, support with organization and study skill development, and reinforcement of course content.
The Assistant in the ASC will
- Deliver direct academic support to students.
- Support the lead teacher with the management of student work plans.
- Proctor assessments
- Assist students with organizational skills and strategies to manage academic responsibilities.
- Communicate effectively with teachers in all departments while respecting student privacy.
- Deliver/pick up student work and assessments throughout the building.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Experience or demonstrated interest in working with junior high school students with a wide range of learning needs.
