Edwards Lifesciences is expanding its global technology capabilities with the launch of a new IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India. The Hub strengthens the technology foundation that supports our business worldwide, working in close partnership with teams across regions to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions at scale. Designed as a long-term investment, the Pune Hub will advance newer digital capabilities such as automation, data, AI, and cloud, and will include roles spanning end user services, application development, and enterprise platform teams. Together, these teams will help Edwards operate more efficiently and accelerate innovation in support of our mission of advancing patient care.

The Associate Web Developer, IT plays a key role in supporting the Edwards Marketing Technologies team by developing, testing, and maintaining web applications and components that power Edwards digital experiences. Working closely with senior developers, designers, and cross‑functional partners, this role contributes across the full web development lifecycle, including feature and module development, unit testing, QA support, code reviews, and scheduled releases. The Associate Web Developer helps ensure that all web solutions meet Edwards’ standards for quality, performance, security, and accessibility, including compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA and OWASP Top 10 secure coding practices.

As a front‑end developer, this role focuses on building responsive, user‑friendly interfaces using modern frameworks such as ReactJS and NextJS. Responsibilities include translating UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and performant code; developing accessible HTML email templates; ensuring cross‑browser and cross‑device compatibility; and supporting integrations with a headless CMS, analytics, and marketing technology platforms. The Associate Web Developer leverages AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code Assist, or similar solutions to improve productivity and code quality, and thrives in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment.

How you will make an impact:
• Develop, enhance, and maintain web pages, components, and reusable modules based on approved designs, business requirements, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and other web developers to deliver responsive, accessible, and high‑quality front‑end solutions using ReactJS and NextJS.

• Use Gitlab, Bitbucket, or similar code repositories for version control, including branching workflows, pull requests, resolving merge conflicts, and collaborating on code merges/releases.

• Perform unit testing and support QA activities to ensure web solutions meet quality, performance, security, accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA), and brand standards.

• Validate content updates, new features, and design changes across browsers, devices, and screen sizes to ensure consistent functionality and user experience.

• Participate in weekly code releases, including build validation, defect resolution, and post‑release verification.

• Apply secure coding practices aligned with OWASP Top 10 guidelines to reduce security risks and vulnerabilities.

• Develop and maintain accessible, responsive HTML email templates with consistent rendering across major email clients.

• Support email campaign setup, QA, troubleshooting, and performance validation within enterprise marketing platforms and Adobe marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Engage, CJA, Adobe Launch).

• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code Assist, or similar technologies to improve development efficiency and code quality.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you’ll need (Required):
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on experience developing modern web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front‑end frameworks such as ReactJS and NextJS.

• Working knowledge of Gitlab, Bitbucket, or similar version control systems, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code merging.

• Familiarity with unit testing concepts and tools, and experience validating code quality through testing and QA practices.

• Exposure to AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code Assist, or similar tools, with the ability to use them responsibly to improve productivity.

• Experience working in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment with IT teams, and global teams.

• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to prioritize work based on business impact and urgency.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.

• Commitment to continuous learning and adoption of modern web, digital, and AI‑driven technologies.
