People & Culture Coordinator | The SOMM Hotel & Spa The People & Culture Coordinator is our version of an air traffic controller. This person is the face of our department; responsible for supporting all administrative functions of the People & Culture team while providing stellar customer service directly to team members employed at our properties. This is a highly administrative position that requires skills in Excel and MS Office. The ideal candidate is a wizard at juggling emails, phone calls and balancing a variety of tasks/systems. The role will report to the Director of People & Culture and support business leaders at all levels, have a strong solution-orientation and thrive in a fast paced, but amazingly rewarding, fun environment. We have fun, grow together, and strive to leave a positive lasting impression on everyone we meet.   What you’ll do: The Brass Tacks Respond to all team members’ requests, voicemails, and emails on a timely fashion Responsible for onboarding activities for new team members such as executing trainings and compliance Draft communication materials as requested by P&C leadership Assist setting up meetings and appointments Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly reports for P&C and other departments  Support legal compliance initiatives and maintain appropriate records  Conduct data analysis and recommend actions to take to achieve goals  Provide guidance and consultation to departments on appropriate P&C practices  Manage assigned projects from beginning to completion  Support managing background check and I-9 systems  Assist with team member engagement surveys and recognition programs  Act as first point of contact for admin tasks related to our HRIS (Dayforce)  Provide support to all functions within the department  Perform other related duties as assigned. The Nitty Gritty Excellent Customer Service Skills and an enthusiastic 'Hospitality Heart' supporting others Strong computer skills  Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Previous experience public speaking Detail oriented  Working knowledge of all applicable HR laws, codes, and regulations  Works well in both team oriented and autonomous environments  Ability to exercise sound judgment, integrity and professionalism in all transactions, including communicating and working with confidential and sensitive information  Ability to produce high quality work, be flexible, prioritize business demands, anticipate needs, be proactive, and take initiative   Don’t meet every single requirement?
