Job Description

  • Trade power products on Day-Ahead, Intraday, Forward and OTC markets.
  • Develop and execute trading strategies across regional wholesale power markets.
  • Monitor prices, market fundamentals, cross-border capacities, system constraints and regulatory developments.
  • Identify trading, optimization and arbitrage opportunities across Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Greece, Albania and neighboring markets.
  • Manage relationships with counterparties, brokers, power exchanges, TSOs, market operators and other market participants.
  • Participate in capacity allocation processes and support cross-border trading activities.
  • Work closely with Analytics, Risk, Operations and Origination teams to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Support balancing activities and ensure compliance with market and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare trading reports, market updates and performance summaries.
  • Contribute to the development of new trading products and regional market opportunities.
  • Experience in power trading, energy markets or a similar commercial role.
  • Good understanding of electricity markets, preferably in Southeast Europe.
  • Knowledge of Day-Ahead, Intraday, Forward, OTC or cross-border power trading will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, numerical and decision-making skills.
  • Commercial mindset and ability to work in a dynamic trading environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong Excel skills; knowledge of data analysis tools is an advantage.
