Bartender
We are seeking a skilled and experienced bartender to join our team this summer. This position will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers. The bartender will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area, managing inventory, and ensuring that all customers are satisfied with their drinks and overall experience. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, have relevant bartending experience, and will strive to consistently produce a quality product.
Base Pay: $12/hr plus tips
Location: Angel Fire Resort restaurants
Employee Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Job Category: Seasonal full and part time
Required Certs or Licenses: Must have prior to first day of work-Food Handler Cert(https://www.nmfoodhandlers.com/eFoodMainReg), NM Alcohol Servers License (www.waytoserve.org)
Leadership Responsibilities: No
Attendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, flexible, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays
Environment: This is an indoor position which includes working in a busy restaurant. Must be able to stand for entire shift occasionally carrying 50lbs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure that all customers are satisfied with their drinks and overall experience
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
- Upsell drinks and food items to customers
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with other restaurant staff to provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
