Assistant Director of Dining Services

We are seeking an experienced, service-focused Assistant Director of Dining Services to join our luxury senior living community. This leadership role partners with the Director of Food and Beverage to deliver exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of hospitality, food quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.  The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys developing team members, building relationships with residents, and creating a warm, welcoming dining environment where every meal is an opportunity to make a difference.

Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Qualified applicants are required to possess a minimum 5 years of progressive experience in quality Food and Beverage operations management in a high quality restaurant, country club, hotel, or senior living company.
  • Prior oversight of multiple venues is required. 
  • Requires demonstrated knowledge of current service styles and techniques, and working knowledge of budgets and reporting. 
  • Prior experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system is preferred.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. Associate's Degree in related field (Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business) is preferred.
  • Possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handlers certification. 
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required or must be willing and able to become CPR and First Aid certified.

 

Additional requirements include:

*Ability to manage, train and create a high-performing team
*Strong Microsoft office skills
*Effective communication, judgment, financial acumen, social skills and standards appropriate for the operation of formal dining operations and interaction with Residents

Pay Range

USD $77,276.15 - USD $96,607.60 /Yr.
