Job Description
- Lead US strategy on the defense of fair use (federal and state), including influencing government action (e.g., U.S. copyright office reports) and promoting good copyright policies overseas.
- Serve as the Americas Regional Policy Lead for copyright and AI, media, and news, driving proactive advocacy and education strategies to shape emerging legislation across LATAM and Canada.
- Architect and implement the global policy on piracy and site-blocking, modernizing frameworks to address the emerging intersections between managing piracy and AI training.
- Act as the global policy authority on emerging issues around likeness and voice, ensuring digital replica policies are driven as a centralized, company-wide objective.
- Support outreach and engage directly with policymakers, regulators, industry players and key opinion formers in thoughtful dialogue on copyright, digital replicas, and media policy issues.
