Job Description
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account concerns.
- Ensure timeliness in customer responses.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
- Support accuracy and timeliness of information to other groups
- Deliver on account revenue target with targeted business.
- Close out open commercial issues in an acceptable timeframe.
- Manage sales forecast accuracy.
- Position and push key technologies
- Ensure awareness of key new business opportunities.
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecast).
- Track new business opportunities via targeted growth matrix.
- Management of annual piece price reductions, if applicable.
- Facilitation of VA/VE ideas. Utilize Advanced Engineering within USF to generate new business.
- Ability to explain how top suppliers are measured.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive account management sales.
- GM experience
- Plastic Injection Molding experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, group presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
