Head of Agency Business Development
Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Manage large scale of agency portfolios and maintain strong relationships and rapport with agency’s family through frequent interaction Propose the strategy to drive agent’s productivity and efficiency Lead sales and marketing activities to increase submission activities and sales penetration Support Chief Agency Officer to develop and contribute cross-sell and up-sell business opportunities
Improve sales penetration through such marketing initiatives Help agency’s family to assess agent’s competencies, values, goals and plan development and career actions
Track and monitor agents’ performances and to recommend appropriate solutions if they encounter difficulties
Identify and provide suitable training to increase agents’ product proficiency and enhance skills set
Formulate and executive recruitment and training strategies and plans for growing the sales force Develop promotion, publicity and bulletin materials and carry out the launch of campaigns
Work with Internal departments to ensure quality service and underwriting/product standards are maintained Drive in agency initiative projects, such as digitalisation and succession plan Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in business development, sales, or strategic partnership roles
Strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans
Leadership skills with experience managing a team
Results-oriented with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets
