Job Description

Position Description: Coordinate surveying tasks and resources throughout construction project lifecycle. Essential Duties Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate surveying tasks throughout duration of construction project. • Identify and escalate drawing discrepancies within building layout to supervisor. • Establish baseline-building controls and work points; calculate, coordinate, and layout points with accuracy, based on project documents. • Ensure coordinated work between Trades utilizing discipline contract drawings, shop drawings, and submittals. • Conduct As-Built Surveys and prepare electronic data for submission to team members. • Engage, interact, and coordinate work with other team members. • Conduct daily inspection of surveying equipment and track equipment calibrations. • Clean surveying equipment to ensure equipment is ready for next day’s work. • Order surveying supplies as directed. • Ensure security of equipment while conducting surveying operations. • Assist with overall site safety and quality programs and ensure compliance of Trade employees and Trade Partners in accordance Turner standards, applicable safety codes, regulations, and jobsite security. • Complete time sheets, production tracking/management, extra work tickets, daily construction reports, and required safety paperwork daily, as directed. • Promote teamwork in daily operations, and maintain positive working relationship with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees. • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
