
NSW Managing Principal - Workers' Compensation
Job Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Workers' Compensation team as NSW Managing Principal at Marsh. This role will be based in Barangaroo, Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This is an opportunity to lead the Workers’ Compensation team within Mercer Marsh Benefits and help deliver practical, client-focused risk consultancy solutions. You will work across Marsh and Mercer to support clients with end-to-end people risk solutions, while leading a team of Workers’ Compensation Consultants.
We will count on you to:
- Lead a team of Workers’ Compensation Consultants and support their day-to-day performance
- Oversee service delivery across a portfolio of clients and maintain high-quality consulting outcomes
- Develop and manage team budgets, financial deliverables and operational objectives
- Build and maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships
- Coach and mentor team members to support capability, engagement and service quality
- Contribute to broader people risk solutions by working with colleagues across Marsh and Mercer
What you need to have:
- Demonstrated experience in Workers’ Compensation broking, consultancy, claims, placement or a related leadership role
- Experience leading client service, account management or stakeholder relationships in a professional services, consulting or insurance environment
- Proven ability to manage budgets, commercial outcomes or cost centre responsibilities
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues and external partners

- Knowledge of the Australian Workers’ Compensation landscape
- A bachelor’s degree in WHS, business, law, commerce or a related discipline
