PT Weekday Direct Support Professional (DSP)- Harford/ Havre De Grace

PT/ Weekday- Direct Support Professional (DSP) Support Services Harford County/ Havre De Grace Rate of Pay $22/hr     We are seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands-on care to an individual with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Personal Support Services professionals assist individuals and families living in their personal home.    Staff will provide support for a young man who would like to work on being active in his community and leaning about educational opportunities in his community. Assist with learning about available classes and career paths at the local community college or other resources. Assist with participating in activities like movies, going out to eat, and finding new things to try.   This position is:   15 hours /week   Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday 12p-5p The schedule is subject to flexibility due to the needs of the individuals supported.     Job Responsibilities: Assisting with participation and exploration of the community Cultivating and expanding independent living skills Provide assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
