Fleet Maintenance Agent

The Fleet Maintenance Agent (Planner) is responsible for the proactive scheduling and coordination of all planned maintenance activity across the commercial fleet in the UK. You ensure vehicles are maintained according to manufacturer schedules and legal requirements, minimising downtime and keeping the fleet fully operational and compliant. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
• You monitor fleet management systems to identify upcoming service intervals and MOT due dates
• You proactively schedule and book maintenance appointments with approved garages and service centres
• You send advance notifications and manage vehicle collections, deliveries, and courtesy vehicle arrangements
• You raise purchase orders and verify job completion and invoices against work performed
• You actively monitor compliance alerts and escalate risks to the Maintenance Manager
• You build effective supplier relationships and support breakdown response during peak demand

YOUR SKILLS MATTER
• Experience You have coordination, scheduling, or administration experience
• Organisation You manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Communication You communicate confidently and clearly both verbally and in writing
• Tech-savvy You are comfortable with computer systems, databases, and Microsoft Office
• Background Ideally, you bring experience in fleet, automotive, or transport environments
• Know-how Knowledge of MOT and servicing requirements for commercial vehicles is advantageous
