Senior Footwear Cost Engineer

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As our Senior Footwear Cost Engineer, you will ensure every product meets the high performance and quality standards that our athletes deserve, while ensuring we hit or exceed our margin targets. You will be an integral member of our product creation team, and will influence the creation and manufacturing of all new models by ensuring margin and FOB targets are set at the beginning of the product creation process, reviewing cost breakdown sheets at each critical date, and providing suggestions accordingly. You will collaborate with your Arc’teryx, Tier 1 and Tier 2 counterparts in Asia to optimize manufacturing costs, and work with our Sourcing and Materials team to ensure our sourcing strategy and financial targets are aligned. You will create “cheat sheets” and other “self-service” tools and ensure critical steps in our costing process are aligned with our corporate calendar.
This role is based out of our Portland office. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US.

Our Product Creation Development team is a dynamic group spread across the globe. It sits within our Supply Chain organization and is a center of excellence partner with our Footwear Business Unit. The Arc’teryx Footwear team creates innovative, aesthetically striking product that exceeds the core mountain athlete’s outdoors needs across climbing, hiking, and trail running categories.
