We are looking for a Digital Sales Specialist based remotely. You will be part of a sales force responsible for growing Xplore’s customer base and providing win-win solutions which enhance our customer’s experience. Achieving and exceeding your sales targets by responding to our customer initiated digital form requests. You will identify and fulfill our potential new and existing customer’s needs with Xplore’s products and services. Through performing needs assessments, you will offer innovative broadband solutions to enhance the customer’s lifestyle at work, home and play. Responding to customer-initiated requests you will serve as the first impression of customer experiences and ensure customers are engaged and are confident in their solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Completing outbound sales calls to potential customers when requested through digital channels by the customer.
- Play an instrumental role in bringing in new customers and customer leads by interacting with potential customers living in rural Canada to identify opportunities, use information provided to tailor offers to suit customer needs, provide features and benefits, and secure new business.
- Responding to digital form submissions initiated from potential customers on the Xplore Website and Marketing initiated landing pages to present the value of Xplore Services.
- Confidently and effectively handling and overcoming objections. Working with internal and external partners to schedule customer installation appointments.
- Managing your individual sales pipeline, including follow up activities through email as well as inbound and outbound phone calls.
- Interacting with the existing customer base to inform and educate regarding value added services (VAS) solutions, identify opportunities, provide features and benefits, and complete requests to increase the average revenue per user (ARPU).
- Back-up support for the inbound sales queue when needed. Working independently towards individual and team measures to deliver excellent customer service.
- Follow up on installation appointments where necessary via contact with the customer, dealer and/or District Manager.
- Work closely with control center agents to determine dealers when none are mapped to the dealer locator, and also when needed to get quotes for enhanced installs/mileage for customers.
- Off phone tasks when requested. Working with Control Center or District Managers to complete reassignments when dealers decline work/have too much work
- Work with dealer support for customers inquiring about technical specifications required for their service.
- Communicate with Marketing team on what’s working and driving viable sales forms and what would improve customer response rate.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bilingualism (French/English) is required.
- 1+ years’ experience in a customer focused sales role or a combination of skills and experience that clearly demonstrate success.
- Sales experience within a call center/office environment would be considered an asset. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with strong closing techniques.
- Provide accurate, timely, and professionally written responses to chats & emails. Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail. Must have the ability to multi-task and alternate between high volumes of channels (chats, emails, calls).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Maintain up to date and comprehensive knowledge of Xplore services, products, and procedures.
- Demonstrated sales acumen with a competitive drive and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Intrinsically self-motivated and able to maintain a high measure of productivity. Ability to handle and de-escalate conflict verbally and in written correspondence.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Internet browsers. Familiarity with basic use of voice mail and electronic mail systems.
