Job Description Summary

Responsible for the coordination of projects, including small tenant improvements, assignments, capital improvements and building or site repairs for properties; may provide project management support to Project Managers or Directors for designated projects.

About the Role:

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for -

  • Support the end-to-end delivery of projects across planning, design, construction, and occupancy phases
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure timely execution of project milestones
  • Assist in managing project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies
  • Support FM-related changes (e.g., churns / MAC projects) where required
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks or workstreams
  • Act as a key contact for day-to-day client communications
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment of project objectives, scope, and deliverables across all parties
  • Support senior stakeholders with insights to inform decision-making
  • Support implementation of project governance frameworks, including scopes, charters, and process gates
  • Ensure adherence to established project management standards and best practices
  • Assist in driving consistency and standardisation across projects
  • Support process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, reports, and contracts
  • Track project progress and produce regular status reports for stakeholders
  • Ensure data accuracy and quality for management reporting
  • Support purchase orders and financial tracking processes
  • Assist in budget preparation, cost tracking, and financial reporting
  • Support analysis of capital expenditure, investments, and portfolio performance
  • Contribute to project prioritisation and financial decision-making processes
  • Identify and monitor project risks and issues
  • Support mitigation planning and timely escalation where required
  • Ensure quality and compliance across project delivery
  • Provide support and knowledge-sharing within the team
  • Contribute to a collaborative and high-performance working environment

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university.  Minimum two-three years of related experience in Programme Management and / or Project Management and delivery of Banking Corporate Fitout Projects
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong process skills, negotiating, decision-making and analytical skills are necessary.  Demonstrated ability in project management processes, tools and techniques.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective professional/client relationships. 
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project. Ability to work flexible work schedules based on office needs.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and respond effectively to sensitive issues.
  • Ability to plan, work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and work streams.
  • Strong work ethic and adaptable and ability to adapt to business environment changes.
  • Attention to detail, organized and methodical in your approach to work, and the ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure and on time.
