
Senior Mold Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
Plan and supervise Preventive, Corrective, and Predictive Maintenance to ensure tool readiness during high production demand.
Collaborate with the Lead Plant to analyze and resolve mold repair issues and implement transferred best practices.
Lead the planning and release of new in‑house mold projects.
Drive productivity improvement initiatives in the tool shop, such as reducing service time and enhancing technician competency.
Support quality improvement for molding spare parts and stock optimization.
Drive tool availability improvements through projects such as system CIP (Continuous Improvement Process).
Education Background:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or related fields (Tool & Die / Plastic Molding are preferrable).
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with Tool & Die for plastic molding, including tool servicing, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
Experience in mold maintenance planning.
Advanced problem-solving skills, including the 8D process for tooling and molding issues.
Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D technical drawings.
Hands-on experience in plastic injection molding repair and service.
Solid understanding of the plastic injection molding process.
Proficiency in English (speaking and listening).
