Responsible for providing coordination and stewardship of the Regional Company cylinder population with the goal of contributing to the accuracy of customer cylinder records and branch on-hand cylinder balances. This will include customer audits, physical counts at branch locations, review of cylinder records for negative and unusual cylinder balances and other procedures. Ideally, you bring industry experience or knowledge of Airgas business and production/distribution networks.
- Collaborative review of cylinder adjustments to customer accounts, based on review of cylinder records/other information and coordination with sales and branch operations.
- Review utilized cylinder and dock stock trends by branch and customer, assessing major changes.
- Assist local sales managers and branch personnel with large-scale customer cylinder audits.
- Review of uneven cylinder transactions and creation of negative cylinder balances (daily).
- Review for SOP compliance regarding cylinder activity, conducting supportive periodic audits at branch and/or plant locations.
- Assist in review of distributor/dealer customer cylinder balances, coordinate and perform routine audits to foster accuracy of cylinder records.

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) requested, a bachelor’s degree is welcomed.
Branch or plant-related experience is a wonderful asset.
The Cylinder Control Specialist brings a foundational understanding of branch and plant operations and how cylinder activity is processed and maintained.
The ideal teammate brings a dedicated focus on building supportive client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
G-Suite (Google Applications) experience is a plus.
SAP knowledge is welcomed. Detail and multi-task oriented.
Maturity to make effective decisions and welcome accountability and stewardship.
Collaborative and self-directed, with the ability to thrive with autonomy.
Surface issues and collaborate on lasting solutions. Strong organizational and people skills.
The ability to work and foster alignment across a complex matrixed organization.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand the impact of new technologies on processes and assist with the integration of new technologies into day-to-day operations.
