Commodity Buyer for Electronics

As a Global Commodity Buyer you will be responsible for purchasing electronic components as part of a global team; You will negotiate with international suppliers and drive negotiations until nomination under consideration of the Material Group Strategy; As core target you achieve together with your team mates the material cost savings per given budget as well as target costs for new projects; You do fully understand your product portfolio and cost structures, you know the technological needs of your internal stakeholders and you execute market analysis as well as benchmark activities; During the time-to-market process you support the project team by providing competitive prices and cost optimization potentials and therefore contribute in HELLA’s market success; Additionally you continuously optimize your product portfolio by using a variety of procurement levers such as standardization, bundling or challenging specifications; You also do support Operations and Quality towards the supplier in case of logistical or quality issues;
