Job Description
- Define, develop, qualify, optimize, and own the end-to-end manufacturing processes at Contract Manufacturer (CM) sites for products in mass production within your area of focus.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, cycle time, First Pass Yield (FPY), and reduce costs.
- Serve as the primary technical engineering liaison between Google and assigned CMs and suppliers for products in production.
- Lead the introduction and qualification of products and components at second source CM sites and suppliers to ensure supply chain resilience and capacity flexibility.
- Define requirements for and oversee the implementation and maintenance of assembly fixtures, tooling, and automation solutions.
