
Survey Readiness Manager/Stroke Coordinator (FT) - Clarendon
Job Description
- Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
- Coordinates stroke program to include staff and community education, patient education, quality metric compliance monitoring and program needs assessment evaluation.
- Concurrent and retrospective chart abstraction for patient monitoring and improvement opportunities.
- Clinical activities - promotes the delivery of evidenced based stroke care and serves as a clinical resource.
- Education - coordinate intra-facility and regional educational activities related to stroke care.
- Liaison - acts as liaison to local agencies, administration, physicians, and healthcare staff as it relates to stroke.
- Monitor compliance stroke registry databases.
- Provides direct support to hospital departments of the McLeod Health Clarendon to meet accreditation standards.
- Maintains current expertise for continuous compliance with regulatory standards.
- Acts as facility liaison with the regulatory bodies assuring survey requirements/responses made timely.
- Collaborates and assists with establishment of action plans with departments or teams
- Active member of appropriate committees.
- Organizes and facilitates with proactive risk assessments to identify opportunities for improvement with facility managers/directors.
- Works collaboratively with the AVP of Quality & Safety and the AVP of Survey Readiness in moving the organization to ISO compliance.
- Active participant- facilitator of Internal Audit activities.
Qualifications /Training:
- Registered Nurse with 3-5 years of clinical experience required.
- Strong communication and organization skills along with the ability to problem solve, work independently
- Previous experience with regulatory surveys.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:
- An active Registered Nursing License verified by the LLR
