- Uses effective customer service/interpersonal skills at all times.
- Serves as a working leader, coordinating activities of workers and service employees engaged in food operations.
- Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
- Assists in monitoring employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity.
- Assists in the supervision of day-to-day activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specific work or functional activities.
- Orients and trains employees.
- Performs day to day assignments in addition to lead duties.
- Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolutions
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What’s Required
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years progressively more responsible experience in the institutional food service industry.
- Must have production experience, ability to be able to problem solve, have cash handling experience, previous experience supervising both people & resources, and be self-motivated. This position will lead the meal service at MCHC as well as support the management team at Munson Medical Center. Ability to effectively communicate policies, and/or procedures in a manner easily understood by fellow employees
