Coordinator- Food Services (Full time- 11am-7:30pm)

A Day in the Life

• Uses effective customer service/interpersonal skills at all times.
• Serves as a working leader, coordinating activities of workers and service employees engaged in food operations.
• Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Assists in monitoring employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity.
• Assists in the supervision of day-to-day activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specific work or functional activities.
•  Orients and trains employees.
• Performs day to day assignments in addition to lead duties.
• Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolutions
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What’s Required

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 3 years progressively more responsible experience in the institutional food service industry. 
• Must have production experience, ability to be able to problem solve, have cash handling experience, previous experience supervising both people & resources, and be self-motivated. This position will lead the meal service at MCHC as well as support the management team at Munson Medical Center. Ability to effectively communicate policies, and/or procedures in a manner easily understood by fellow employees
