- The Battery Changing Operator supports QVC and helps maintain safe, efficient operations by ensuring they change, charge, and ready all Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) batteries for use.
Where You'll Work
- This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Florence, SC facility daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday 6:00am - 5:00pm
What You'll Do
- Change, charge, and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) batteries while keeping the battery‑changing area clean and operational.
- Operate different PIT equipment including fork trucks, TSPs, PEs, RRs, RCs, scissor lifts, boom lifts, one‑person lifts, and electric floor sweepers.
- Help with basic facility repairs and help maintain the appearance and functionality of the building.
- Support general housekeeping, trash removal, and recycling across all facility areas.
- Help with indoor and outdoor facility events.
- Follow all company safety and security procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of training.
- Current MHE certification for all required Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment.
- Work overtime, nights, and weekends to support operational demands.
- Repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and maintaining an organized work environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow established procedures.
