About the Role
We are looking for a skilled IIoT Platform Engineer to support the evolution of our IT/OT landscape, with a strong focus on implementing a Unified Namespace (UNS) across manufacturing environments.
You will play a key role in designing and delivering modern industrial data solutions, enabling real-time connectivity, data orchestration, and scalable integration between shopfloor systems and digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain IIoT solutions using Ignition
- Enable real-time industrial connectivity and UNS integration across manufacturing systems
- Collaborate with OT stakeholders and production teams to connect machines and systems using MQTT, OPC UA, and Ignition
- Configure and maintain containerized workloads and APIs
- Support system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Contribute to cloud-based integrations and data pipelines
- Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with the Ignition platform, including Perspective (SCADA design)
- Solid understanding of IIoT architectures and industrial data flows
- Experience with MQTT and OPC UA for industrial connectivity
- Knowledge of Unified Namespace (UNS) principles
- Proficiency with Linux and Windows environments
- Experience with APIs, container technologies, and CI/CD pipelines
- General understanding of IP networking
Desirable:
- Experience working in OT / manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with Ignition modules (MQTT Transmission, Gateway, etc.)
- Exposure to cloud platforms and data platforms (e.g., Databricks)
- Understanding of production processes and industrial workflows
- Previous experience in large-scale enterprise environments

- Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and documentation

The salary starts from 3000 Eur gross. The final salary depends on the previous experience and professional knowledge of the candidate.
