About this opportunity
As a Driver File Administrator, you will be responsible for reviewing background reports, verifying employment history, and ensuring all driver qualification files meet regulatory and company standards.
Pay and Schedule
The pay range is $16-$18 an hour dependent on experience. This position is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
How will you contribute to the success of the team?
Review and evaluate background reports, criminal history, motor vehicle records and other records
Verifying previous employment including contacting prior employer to confirm work history and safety performance
Identify discrepancies or concerns in background check and escalate issues as needed
Obtain, evaluate and enter complete and accurate information into the databases
Perform audits on students who have recently graduated from a truck driving school
Perform audits for experienced driver files
Compile required paperwork for DOT files. Personnel and training files
Update driers license, medical card and other driver file maintenance information in a timely manner
Issue rider permits for passengers
Handle verification request
Perform other assigned duties or tasks as time permits or as directed by supervisor

Must have communication and interpersonal skills
Use quality telephone skills for clear communication interdepartmentally and with drivers
Must have extreme attention to detail so as to avoid and find mistakes made on driver files
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and Time management
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay on task with time sensitive documents
Ability to work in a group setting
Knowledge and ability to learn relevant computer applications
