Migration Associate Consultant
Strada Global Professional Services (PS) provides application support and project implementation to our clients. During project implementation phase Data Migration plays an important role setting up these services.
The Data Migration Associate Consultant is responsible to execute Data Migration for a payroll country (or multiple), monitored by a Data Migration Lead. During preparation phase the DM Lead provides DM templates and conducts workshops with the client, during testing reviews the data delivered by the client (data quality assessment), loads it, updates the load tracker to monitor errors, and proposes solutions how to solve it, reconciles the data, and provides validation reports. Steps and processes are defined in the Local DM Plan, which is adjusted for each country by the DM Lead.
The Data Migration (DM) team consists of different levels; a (Senior) DM Workstream Lead is accountable for big programs, global strategy and planning, the DM Lead is responsible for the execution, and the DM Support assists with the high volumes; where required we have Data Scientists providing additional services.
Responsibilities
Support the DM Lead.
Execute DM templates following client’s global and local standards.
Perform extraction and transformation approach and tools to support data migration
Review data files provided by the client on data quality before the loading.
Load data to the testing and production environment and update the load tracker with the results; report to the DM Lead, propose a solution, monitor until everything is reconciled and loaded successfully.
Provide validation reports and assist with the client’s data validation until sign-off.
Share experience and suggest improvements on data migration templates and loading etc.
Qualifications:
0 to 1 years' experience in IT related projects or environment
Willing to work in shifts.
Is a team player.
Can work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Has knowledge of Human Resources, Time, and Payroll concepts, and of the related Data Migration processes.
Has functional knowledge of HRIS technology, such as Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle, SAP HCM, Peoplesoft, and Payroll (SAP PY, PT, FIORI).
Basic Microsoft Excel skills, MS Access, or similar tools.
Has a passport and is willing to travel for business purposes.
High level of English is required
Education:
Bachelor's Degree, Preferably in Computer Science or MBA from a reputed college.
