Job Description
We are currently searching for a Doc Drawer. This position is responsible for funding all Wholesale Conventional loans including fixed rate, adjustable rate, balloon and equity lines of credit. Use knowledge and experience of the funding process and compliance requirements to make sound decisions to commit company funds for loan fundings. Meet or exceed production expectations.
Responsibilities
Review loan documents for accuracy, completion, and compliance. Identify any missing or expired documents or incomplete items and address with appropriate department.
Prepare and generate closing packages ensuring all required information is accurate and all necessary documents are included.
Analyze loan documents and decide as to whether the loan meets all requirements to proceed with funding.
Adheres to required timeframes to ensure timely and accurate closings.
Prepare and validate the Closing Disclosure and set up wires ensuring accuracy of wiring instructions.
Perform duties under moderate to close supervision and actively engage supervisor and/or manager to resolve complex issues.
Remain current on funding guidelines and compliance requirements.
Effectively communicates status and expectations to internal staff and escrow/title.
Utilize time management skills to stay on track with multiple loans at various stages of the funding process.
Works collaboratively to meet company goals for funding.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowlege and Skills Required
Strong knowledge of wet/dry state closing requirements
Strong knowledge of funding guidelines and procedures
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
Strong time management skills to plan and organize a high daily loan volume
Strong ability to be very detail-oriented in a deadline driven environment
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Must be a team player and work constructively with fellow employees
Credentials and Experience Required
Minimum 2 years of experience with state and federal lending regulations (i.e., ability to repay (ATR), RESPA, TRID, Fair Lending, etc.)
Computer literate with experience using Microsoft applications with mortgage industry standard software
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
