  • Prepare and review design calculations, reports, specifications and drawings
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, designers and drafters
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders and regulatory authorities
  • Contribute to proposals, project planning and business development activities
  • Support delivery of MRWA projects, including ETS panel work and inspections

About You:

You are a technically strong and commercially aware Structural Engineer with deep experience in infrastructure, particularly bridges, and a passion for mentoring and developing others.

  • Degree in Engineering (Structural or equivalent) with 10+ years’ experience (including 7+ years in infrastructure)
  • Strong expertise in bridge design and civil infrastructure within a consulting environment
  • Solid understanding of MRWA design processes, with ETS panel and bridge inspection experience highly regarded
  • Proficient in SpaceGass, STAAD Pro or Strand7
  • Ability to independently prepare and check design calculations
  • Chartered (CPEng) or able to obtain within 6 months

You also bring:

  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders
  • Experience supporting project delivery, budgets and proposals
  • Confidence working across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Sound understanding of commercial project environments
  • Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
  • A proactive approach to mentoring and professional growth

What We Offer:

  • Join a collaborative and supportive team where mentorship is valued
  • Flexible and hybrid working to support work–life balance
  • Career development support, including chartership and professional memberships
  • Access internal career opportunities across projects and locations
  • Paid parental leave and additional leave flexibility options
  • Health and wellbeing support, including Employee Assistance Program
  • Work on meaningful infrastructure projects shaping communities across WA
