Role:

The Oracle Fusion Reports Developer designs, develops, and supports reporting and analytics solutions across Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (e.g., Financials, HCM, Procurement, SCM). The role focuses on BI Publisher, OTBI, and related tools to deliver accurate, performant, and secure reports that meet business and compliance needs. 

Responsibilities 

  • Gather and analyze reporting requirements with business and functional teams. 

  • Design and build reports using BI Publisher (data models, layouts, bursting) and OTBI (analyses, dashboards, subject areas). 

  • Develop data models, complex SQL queries, and scheduled extracts; support integrations where needed. 

  • Perform unit testing, support UAT, validate data accuracy, and tune performance. 

  • Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation. 

  • Manage report migrations across environments following change control. 

  • Configure report security aligned with Oracle Fusion role-based and data security. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and promote reporting standards and best practices. 

*Mandatory skill sets 

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle BI Publisher and OTBI in Oracle Fusion Cloud. 

  • Solid SQL skills and understanding of relational data modelling. 

  • Familiarity with Fusion data structures (subject areas, view objects) and at least one module (e.g., Financials, HCM, Procurement, SCM). 

  • Experience with XML, Excel/RTF layouts; exposure to REST/SOAP services, FBDI, or Oracle Analytics Cloud is a plus. 

  • 4+ years in reporting/BI development, including Oracle Fusion Cloud experience. 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience; Oracle Cloud certifications preferred.Top of Form
