General Superintendent

Manages large construction projects to ensure cost controls, schedules, quality, and safety requirements are met and that such projects are completed per design specifications and client requirements. Establishes project responsibilities matrices in partnership with leadership team including lower level/functional superintendents, craft foremen, project managers, subcontractors, and vendors. Ensures safety standards and regulations are followed and required reporting is completed. Reviews, negotiates, and approves change orders. Ensures that staffing, equipment, and materials are available for project completion according to established timelines. Develops and implements plans for project completion and turnover. For those with union projects and employees, reviews and approves the balance of forepersons, journeymen, and laborer’s composite labor rates. Engages with the firm's management, clients, and subcontractors in open communication regarding all areas of project completion. Advises concerned stakeholder
