Mobile Technician

Crystal Lake Elementary District 47 currently has (1) opening for the Mobile Technician position. The rate of pay is $17.87 per hour for 40 hr. work week that is a year round position. Medical benefits and Paid Time Off. The Mobile Technician provides on-going support for staff and students with specialization on mobile devices such as Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other wireless devices.

The ideal candidate will:

• Support teachers and students with functionality of technology devices in the classroom
• Provide first level of support and troubleshoot PCs, printers, projectors and other forms technology
• Repair or coordinate repairs on Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other mobile devices
• Provide assistance to teachers and students where it relates with use of technology
• Maintain technology inventory for the building(s) assigned
• Install or update apps / software as directed
• Be proactive, communicate and escalate issues to the next level of support
• Assist in maintaining a high level of security on the district network

Requirements include:

• Education: At least 30 semester hours college credit preferred
• Knowledge of Windows, Chrome OS, iOS, Google Apps, and Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented
• Experience with troubleshooting technical issues
• Positive interpersonal communication ability and self-motivation
