The Supervisor, Quality is responsible for overseeing quality processes, ensuring adherence to established standards, and supporting continuous improvement across operations. This role works closely with production and engineering teams to maintain product integrity, drive compliance with regulatory requirements, and enhance overall quality performance.

The Supervisor monitors quality metrics, addresses process gaps, and promotes a culture of accountability and operational excellence. This position contributes to achieving organizational objectives by ensuring consistent product quality and process reliability.

Primary Duties

  • The Supervisor, Quality directs daily quality activities to ensure products meet established specifications and standards.
  • This role monitors quality performance, analyzes data, and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
  • The Supervisor collaborates cross-functionally to resolve quality issues, supports audits and compliance efforts, and ensures documentation accuracy.
  • Promotes quality awareness and drives initiatives that strengthen operational performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
  • Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Maintain and review quality documentation, including procedures and inspection records.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction and process optimization.
  • Communicate quality expectations and performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing, including 2+ years in a supervisory role; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Preferred: Certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor or Certified Quality Technician.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Mental and Physical Functions:

  • Frequent standing and walking, including time on the manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
  • Frequent movement between office and production areas.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Sustained focus and attention to detail for evaluating quality processes and data.

Work Environment:

  • Perform duties in both office and manufacturing environments.
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels, moving mechanical parts, and industrial conditions.
  • Requires use of personal protective equipment as needed.
  • Regular interaction and collaboration with production, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Compliance with all safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • This role is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position, requiring adherence to safety protocols.

Pay Range:

$71,622.00 - $87,538.00
