Perfetti Van Melle is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum. We create imaginative products and brands that are enjoyed in over 150 countries and includes brands such as Vivident, Mentos, and Chupa Chups operating in the Food / Fast Consumption sector.
We are now looking for Deputy Sales Manager (Karadeniz) for our Sales Team, reporting to the Anadolu Regional Sales Manager.
Main Responsibilities
Details of the role are as follows:
- Leading and developing Distributor Executives by providing clear direction, coaching and performance management to ensure high execution standards across all territories
- Coaching both distributor teams and internal teams on execution excellence and commercial priorities
- Monitoring KPIs, taking corrective actions where needed and ensuring delivery of monthly and annual commercial targets
- Driving distributor performance through structured follow-ups, challenging targets and continuous capability development
- Developing and controlling distributors business processes in line with the PVM standards
- Building strong distributor partnerships while effectively managing conflicts and leading negotiations to drive sustainable growth
- Ensuring best-in-class execution in the field by closely working with field teams and conducting regular market visits
- Expanding availability, visibility and execution quality of PVM products across all Traditional Channel outlets
- Identifying market opportunities and risks, and translating them into actionable commercial and executional plans
- Leading the implementation and follow-up of Joint Business Plans with distributors and key accounts
- Ensuring accurate and timely reporting, while leveraging data to generate insights and improve decision-making
Qualifications Required For This Position Are As Follows
- 5+ years of total work experience, preferably in FMCG or related fields
- Traditional Channel & Distributor Management experience, and over this period has successfully delivered on KPIs
- Excellent selling skills: communication and negotiation
- Has commercial awareness and basic understanding of commercial maths
- Good command in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Good command in English speaking and writing
- Mobility
