Research Assistant

Based in Cedar City, Utah through August 31, 2026   Utah State University Extension in Iron County, Utah, is seeking motivated college students to assist with monitoring livestock equipped with virtual fencing collars in remote grazing environments. This position supports applied research and demonstration projects focused on innovative grazing management. Technicians will work both independently and as part of a team to collect data, monitor cattle distribution, troubleshoot equipment, and contribute to outreach materials.
