What’s the role?
The Regional EH&S Systems Engineer supports the North America Business Services team and reports to the Regional Senior Manager of Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S). In this role, you'll lead the implementation and continuous improvement of EH&S management systems, processes, and databases that support safety, sustainability, environmental compliance, and operational excellence across the region.
You'll partner with cross-functional teams to support customer requests, sustainability initiatives, environmental programs, safety programs, training, incident investigations, ergonomic assessments, and regulatory compliance. You'll also collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to drive corporate EH&S initiatives and ensure consistent implementation of best practices.
Success in this role requires experience in EH&S system development, process improvement, and implementing safety management programs. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while working independently. Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as you'll interact with employees, leaders, and external partners at all levels of the organization.

Here’s what you’ll do:
Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Systems
Develop and enhance regional Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) management systems.
Create and maintain regional EH&S policies, procedures, and best practices.
Partner with global Health & Safety, Sustainability, and Environmental teams to implement EH&S solutions across North America.
Design and implement assessment tools and dashboards to monitor EH&S performance and key metrics in real time.
Support regional EH&S teams with the collection, analysis, and reporting of EH&S key performance indicators (KPIs).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen compliance, operational excellence, and system effectiveness.
Training & Support
Develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs on regional EH&S management systems and processes.
Provide ongoing guidance and support to regional teams to promote consistent adoption of EH&S programs and tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify training needs and implement effective learning solutions.
Additional Responsibilities
Support regional teams with the implementation and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) management systems.
Partner closely with Business Services, Quality, Regulatory, and site leadership to ensure alignment and compliance with EH&S requirements.
Coordinate and support EH&S-related administrative activities, including documentation, reporting, recordkeeping, and system maintenance.
Assist with audits, assessments, and corrective action tracking to support ongoing compliance and operational excellence.
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that enhance EH&S processes, employee engagement, and continuous improvement efforts.
Do you qualify?
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Engineering, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in a similar EHS, ESG, or technology consulting role.
Proven project management experience with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience managing projects with direct client interaction and ownership.
Experience developing project proposals, statements of work, and implementation plans for quality, EHS, or ESG technology projects.
Ability to establish project schedules, manage timelines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders and navigate challenging conversations.
Experience implementing EHS/ESG software solutions such as Enablon, Sphera, Intelex, Cority, ServiceNow, Benchmark ESG, Quentic, VelocityEHS, or similar platforms.
Experience with databases and configuring off-the-shelf software applications is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong client relationships.
Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $109,000 – $136,000
Actual compensation will depend on factors such as location, experience, education, skills, and role scope
Eligible for performance bonus or sales commissions
