Job Description
Provides leadership and direction through Managers and Leads in health physics, dosimetry, instrumentation, radiological engineering and health physics support, radiological records, and other programmatic areas. This support extends to multiple facilities/projects at SRS. They report through Radiological Protection Management and assist senior leadership (VP level) such as EM Operations and NNSA functions. They are tasked with ensuring project/facility objectives are met through prioritizing resources across health physics programs within the Radiological Protection Department.
Continuously evaluates key organizational and business challenges and develops new and innovative solutions to complex radiological and health physics challenges.
Negotiates with senior leadership within SRNS to include EM Operations and NNSA functions, key operational, engineering, and support organizations at the area level. Serves overall manager for health physics related support areas.
