Job Description
Performs a wide variety of tasks and makes observations, analyze calibration data and interpret results. Maintains laboratory equipment and inventory levels for laboratory supplies. Performs limited troubleshooting and calibration of instruments. May perform glass washing. Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs and other related duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Picking up glass and plastic ware from manufacturing, QC and R&D labs.
- Maintain and organize dishwashing, and storage rooms.
- Daily, weekly, monthly and as-needed logging of various information on data sheets.
- Maintain sufficient and accurate inventory of lab supplies.
- Maintain overall cleanliness in areas of responsibility.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with both internal and external personnel.
- Perform or coordinate routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
- Assist with equipment maintenance according to laboratory procedures; Maintain equipment logs and records as assigned.
- Perform daily temperature checks as assigned, and temperature logs and records as assigned.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and cleaning of various equipment.
- Assist other lab support scientist when required.
- Organize and maintain, as needed, filing system of hard copy materials related to lab supplies, equipment and metrology activities.
Responsibilities:

- Develops job knowledge and skills.
- Applies company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature.
- Recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
- Follows established procedures on routine work and requires instructions only on new assignments.
