Ukrainian/Russian/Polish CAT II Linguist

Valiant is seeking skilled Linguists to provide translation and interpretation services in support of ongoing and new operations and mission requirements. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

• Provide comprehensive language services, including written translation, on-site interpretation, and remote interpretation, covering both consecutive and simultaneous modes from Ukrainian, Russian, and Polish to English and vice-versa.  

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of English source text nuances and be able to effectively adapt the content for a Ukrainian, Russian, and Polish-speaking audience. 

• Consecutive interpretation for small group discussions, one-on-one meetings, and briefings, classroom or field training sessions.  

• Simultaneous interpretation for large-scale lectures, conferences, and training sessions.  

• Render accurately and idiomatically translation and interpretation without omissions, additions, or embellishments.  

• Due to requirements and volatility of the mission, the Interpreter must be willing to relocate to different locations in their (when/if required) upon Customer request.
