Job Description:
Drive the creation, growth, and engagement of dental professional communities as a core extension of clinical education. The role focuses on delivering educational value through connected communities and impactful partnerships, enabling continuous learning, peer exchange, and clinical discussion. It requires a hands-on approach to activate communities through relevant educational content, meaningful interactions, and experiences. While collaborating closely with marketing and commercial teams, the primary focus remains education-first, with community serving as the platform to scale impact. A critical component of the role is ensuring that global community strategies are aligned with and driven by local educational needs and initiatives, enabling relevance and adoption across markets.
Job Requirements:
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Build, grow, and nurture communities centered around clinical education topics and professional development
- Establish and manage community frameworks and governance (e.g. steering committees, mentors, advisory boards)
- Manage day-to-day community engagement across digital platforms and local touchpoints
- Create and curate clinically relevant, discussion-driven content that drives interaction and learning
- Design and activate education-led customer journeys through community interactions
- Identify and pursue partnerships with third-party dental organizations and activate them hands-on
- Enable local community activation (events, meetups, study club–like formats) aligned with global strategy
- Act as a bridge between global strategy and local execution, ensuring mutual alignment and feedback
- Support delivery of in-person and hybrid educational experiences and extend them into ongoing engagement
- Drive visibility and participation through hands-on promotion using marketing tools and channels
- Track performance, gather insights, and continuously optimize engagement, learning impact, and community health
Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Background in education, communications, healthcare, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in community management, education, or engagement roles
- Experience within a dental team, or healthcare environment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of the dental education sector, its challenges, opportunities, and best practices
Critical Skills/technical know-how: (what the role holder must be able to do)
- Strong ability to translate clinical topics into engaging formats, with high attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with digital platforms and live interactions
- Understanding of how to structure and scale communities through frameworks and roles
- Ability to promote and position initiatives to drive participation
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Highly proficient communicating in English particularly in written format.
- Proven project management experience
Critical Experience:
- Experience delivering or supporting educational or community-based initiatives
- Exposure to partnerships and external collaboration
- Experience working across markets is beneficial
- Experience with education platforms and relationship with associations
- Experience in customer facing roles
- Willingness to travel as needed
