YOUR PROFILE:

  • Bachelor Degree in Automotive related fields (electrical, electronic, mechatronic, automotive design or equivalent).
  • 2-5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Experience in either propulsion systems, powertrain, driveline, End Of Line, Diagnostics Protocols, UDS, CAN, LIN, keyword 2000.
  • Experience in validation, testing or diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of either Electrical vehicles, High Voltage, Electrical Systems, HIL (hardware in the loop), C++, Matlab, Simulink
  • Willing to rotate shifts and perform activities onsite at the Client´s Plant in Toluca.
  • Conversational English

NEED TO KNOW:

-This is an onsite position at our Client´s Facilities in Toluca, México.

-You will be asked to the morning (7am-3pm) and afternoon (3pm-11pm) shifts every 3 months, also work extra hours and some weekends may be required.

We are looking for a Junior Automotive Systems Validation Engineer to support the development, validation, and industrialization of advanced propulsion systems, including electrified technologies. You will be involved across the full lifecycle (from prototype integration to production and field support) working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

 

YOUR ROLE: 

  • Lead and support verification and validation activities, including Design Validation Plan (DVP) definition and execution for propulsion system software and diagnostics.
  • Drive integration and testing of propulsion systems, including prototype vehicles and high-voltage validation activities.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting using vehicle and test data, supporting both development and field issues.
  • Define and support End-of-Line (EOL) testing strategies to ensure production readiness and system robustness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance diagnostics, system performance, and maintainability.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You should be able to work onsite in Toluca, Estado de México. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
  • Experience in vehicle propulsion systems (conventional and/or electrified) and diagnostics development or validation.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN) and diagnostic standards (UDS).
  • Experience with testing tools and electrical systems validation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with electrified propulsion systems (HEV/EV).
  • Familiarity with advanced diagnostic strategies and system monitoring approaches.
  • Exposure to programming or modeling tools (C++, MATLAB/Simulink or similar).
  • Experience working with engineering lifecycle or requirements tools.
