This is more than a delivery role – we are looking for someone to help expand our service offering, deepen client relationships, and play a key role in JUMBO’s continued growth across Europe.

The Opportunity
We have an immediate opportunity to support key clients with procurement across their European BESS portfolios, including standalone storage and hybrid renewable projects.
You will be working on complex, high-value projects, delivering strategic procurement solutions in a rapidly evolving market with diverse regulatory frameworks.
Initial Focus – BESS (Europe)
The role will focus on end-to-end procurement for utility-scale BESS projects, including:
- Battery Supply Agreements (BSA) – sourcing battery OEMs and negotiating supply terms
- Energy Management Systems (EMS) and control platforms
- Balance of Plant (BOP) – civil, electrical, substations, and grid connection scopes
- EPC / E-BoP packages for full system integration
- Long-term service agreements (LTSA), including warranties and performance considerations
Expanding Scope
The role will also support:
- Hybrid projects (BESS + solar / wind)
- Co-location strategies and grid optimization projects
- Emerging technologies and flexibility markets across Europe
Long-Term Growth
This opportunity provides a strong platform to:

- Expand relationships with key developers, utilities, and investors
- Establish best-in-class procurement frameworks for energy storage

Role & Responsibilities
Procurement
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for BESS project packages
- Manage full tender lifecycle (RFI, RFP, evaluation, negotiation, award)
- Lead commercial negotiations across key supply and delivery agreements
- Coordinate technical, legal, and financial inputs across stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with client governance and EU regulatory requirements
- Optimize commercial outcomes across cost, risk, and performance
- Build strong market intelligence on suppliers, technologies, and pricing trends
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a motivated procurement professional with strong experience in energy storage or complex energy infrastructure.
Desirable Experience:
- Significant experience in BESS, energy storage, or power infrastructure projects in Europe
- Proven track record negotiating:
- Battery Supply Agreements (BSA)
- EPC or system integration scopes
- Long-term service agreements (LTSA)
- Experience with grid connection and electrical infrastructure
- Strong understanding of European energy markets and regulatory environments
- Knowledge of battery technologies, supply chains, and commercial models
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Structured and analytical working approach
- Experience in multi-country European project environments
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree
