We are always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team.     The Opportunity: You will work with a driven team of journalists and researchers on large-scale projects of public interest. You will be engaged in story planning, strategizing public records harvesting, backgrounding companies and individuals, filing and appealing freedom of information requests, data analysis and in-depth interviewing. Candidates with strong multi-media skills — including visual storytelling and video/audio production — are especially encouraged to apply. Story planning, strategizing public records Data analysis and interviewing Visual storytelling and video/audio production   Who you are: Driven to find information that sheds new light on unanswered questions Collaborative teammates who are not afraid of trying new things or having difficult conversations Curious and exacting in their research methods with strong analytical and verification skills Clear writers and thinkers    The IJB team meets in person in its newsroom inside the Postmedia building in downtown Toronto at least three days a week, typically Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The successful candidate will need to be in Toronto.    Interested candidates are asked to submit the following:  Resume Three clips showing your most ambitious work A letter explaining your interest in investigative work and the kinds of subject matter that interests you   Compensation:  Employment offers presented to the selected candidate are based on a combination of qualifications, experience, responsibilities of the role and the candidate's location.  Base Salary: $60,000- $65,000
