At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.Those in internal audit at PwC help build, optimise and deliver end-to-end internal audit services to clients in all industries. This includes IA function setup and transformation, co-sourcing, outsourcing and managed services, using AI and other risk technology and delivery models. IA capabilities are combined with other industry and technical expertise, in areas like cyber, forensics and compliance, to address the full spectrum of risks. This helps organisations to harness the power of IA to help the organisation protect value and navigate disruption, and obtain confidence to take risks to power growth.

Requirements
Namibian citizenship is mandatory.

B. Comm/B. Acc Degree/B-Tech Internal Audit (preferably with Honours/ Honours in Internal Audit).
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or studying towards certification.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an internal auditing/auditing environment (including completed articles).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good report writing skills.
The ability to work independently.
Attention to detail.
Be able to perform under pressure, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and tolerate high stress levels.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Driver’s license will be an advantage.
Duties
Prepare risk-based internal audit plans.
Execute internal audit programs (including the completion of system descriptions, preparation of working papers and maintaining the internal document repository).
Identify, evaluate and test the effectiveness of internal controls.
Develop sound knowledge and understanding of clients through researching and knowledge sharing.
Assist clients with the development of policies and procedure manuals.
Assist with the marketing and development of the Namibian Internal Audit practice to further extend the Internal Audit practice service offerings. This will include proposal writing and completion of internal risk management documentation.
Consult clients on the broader aspect of risk management.
Manage client relations.
Coaching and developing junior team members while contributing as a collaborative team player.
