Description of the job

A vacancy for Avionics V&V Engineer in the Navigation system team has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

Main Tasks:

  • Responsibility for the integration and management of specific equipment and systems (both airborne and ground segments, at hardware and functional level) necessary in the system to perform its intended missions.

  • Development of Test Procedures, Certification and Verification Documents

  • Perform and/or monitor tests and perform analysis of test results

  • Support Certification and Qualification process

  • Support the whole design process including design review meetings (internal, supplier and customer milestones)

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, or comparable discipline

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a related field

  • Desirable background / knowledge: Aircraft Avionic/Navigation Systems, Software Test Engineering, Requirements Based Engineering

  • Analytical thinking skills, independent working style and good communication skill

  • The ability to work in an international and multidisciplinary team

  • Fluent in English
