What will you be doing?

As an ENT Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth across Central & Eastern Europe. You will lead the execution of the commercial strategy through distributor partnerships, market expansion, and strong clinical engagement — delivering real impact for patients and customers across the region.

This is a highly strategic yet hands-on role, offering the opportunity to influence a multi-country region and accelerate growth within a dynamic, distributor-led environment.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Drive and deliver commercial performance across the CEE region, meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Own forecasting, pipeline management, and regional financial performance
  • Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with regional strategy
  • Lead and manage a network of distributors and partners across multiple countries
  • Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and governance frameworks
  • Build strong, long-term partnerships aligned to Smith+Nephew standards
  • Identify and expand into new markets, segments, and growth opportunities
  • Analyse customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes
  • Support product adoption through clinical engagement and market development initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including surgeons, hospitals, and procurement teams
  • Identify and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Translate clinical insights into commercial opportunities
  • Train, coach, and develop distributor sales teams to drive capability and performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical, and Global teams to ensure excellence

Successful candidates would need the following:

  • Proven experience in medical devices or healthcare sales within an international environment
  • Strong track record of delivering commercial results and managing distributor networks
  • Experience working across multiple countries or regions (preferred)
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix organisation
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and drive growth opportunities
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region (70–80%)
  • Valid driver’s licence
