Job Description
The New Product Integration (NPI) Prototype Supervisor must ensure the fluidity of operations in his department. He is also responsible for the employees in his department and their training.
Role and responsibilities
Act as a Coach for your employees
Develop technical skills, supervise, guide, and develop employees
Ensures that proper manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures are followed at all times and that all products consistently meet specifications.
Mobilize and motivate employees to build a culture based on respect, teamwork and accomplishment.
Responsible for leading daily meetings with team members.
Level load and distribute work. Ensure the work is completed and achieves the quantity and quality targets set out in the operational plan.
Maintain and collaborate on the continuous improvement action plan and contribute to solutions to meet or exceed department performance objectives.
Maintain 5S and Lean practices in all work areas.
Staff assessment and disciplinary process if necessary.
Demonstrates leadership by administering excellent health and safety performance through due diligence, trainings, audits, communication, education and root cause analysis
Ensures the maintenance of the Preventive Maintenance Program for state-of-the-art equipment.
All other related tasks are considered part of the role and may be assigned as needed.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
College Diploma in Operations Management or a related field combined with 3 to 5 years of leadership experience in the manufacturing sector.
Strong passion for accomplishment.

Excellent time management, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Trustworthy and value responsibility.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong and effective working relationships.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Master the French and English language (employees and clients from the United States).
