Job Duties & Responsibilities:• Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition• Performs routine maintenance activities• Performs heavy cleaning duties• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors• Gathers and empties trash• Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities / Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment• Mixes cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures• Vacuums and shampoos or steam-cleans carpets and rugs• Manages inventory of cleaning supplies• Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs to equipment associated with the role• Mowing, edging, and fertilizing lawn/gardens• Weeding and mulching garden beds• Removing unwanted, dead, or damaged vegetation as needed• Planting flowers, shrubs, and trees• Watering gardens, lawns, and landscaping Job Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:• May require a valid Driver’s License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams• Speak, write, read fluent English• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus
