Job Description
What will your role be?
•You supervise the Brussels Hub NCG team during night and weekends.
•You coordinate contingencies for BNL area, and ensure that a correct information flow is in place.
•You deal with the day-to-day operational constraints as well as coordinates agreements with entities involved.
•You work pro-actively in order to reduce failures and to focus on getting correct processes in place.
•You minimize impact of contingencies on service level, and optimise linehaul load capacity.
•Provide continuous correct movement information.
•You lead team of (Sr) Officers in highly stressful environment.
•You ensure all tools & information are in place to execute the job as required.
•You take an active role in job satisfaction of individual team members.
•Working in compliance with internal quality processes and procedures, as well as all legal requirements
What is your profile?
•Excellent operational process knowledge. Substantial knowledge and understanding of the performance and capabilities of various aircraft & trucks, the DHL transportation network and Hubs & Gateways.
•Strong analytical and decision-making competencies.
•Able to work effectively and efficiently in a stressful environment.
•Good at establishing working relationships and developing personal contacts in cross-cultural environment. Natural people manager.
•Able to communicate with technical and non-technical staff.
•Excellent computer skills.
•Fluently spoken and written English and Dutch. All other languages are additional assets.
