About This Role 

The Uncrewed Land & Air team within Land Systems, Hunt Valley is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team! We want engineers who have the passion to apply a diverse set of technologies and skills to create indispensable robotic solutions. Work is conducted on research and development initiatives that enable our ground robotic products and programs.

In this role, you will be responsible for: 

  • Working in an interdisciplinary role, enabling the full life cycle of successful systems 
  • Performing requirements analysis to understand customer needs 
  • Developing architecture models to support requirements development and derivation 
  • Using requirements management and test tools to decompose program requirements 
  • Working across engineering disciplines to develop conceptual designs that solve hard problems 
  • Performing hands-on integration of components and subsystems into Ground Vehicles 
  • Supporting integration of system components 
  • Developing integration test plans and procedures to verify product integration 
  • Performing analysis of data extracted from testing 
  • Other duties as needed

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years related experience  
  • Technical internship experience preferred 
  • Experience with DOORS, JIRA, MagicDraw (or equivalent) or model-based systems engineering are pluses 
  • Ability to work a 9/80 schedule (with every other Friday off!) 
  • This position requires an individual to be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
